About The Artist…
Photography for Selwa started as a hobby.
A true citizen of the world, Selwa has lived in three
different continents and her camera has always been
there to capture the beauty of the world surrounding
her. Born in Morocco, she had the ability to train and
develop her artistic feel by immortalizing colours and
feeling of the Marrakech “souks” and street markets, by
walking around the busy streets of Casablanca… A student
in Paris, she photographed many of the notoriously known
monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysées,
the most famous avenue in the world, or Notre Dame
church. From her trips to North Africa, Paris or
Provence or even in her current home based state of
Virginia, Selwa brings back immortalized moments of her
experiences and souvenirs. Her passion for photography
can truly be understood when browsing through her
portfolio, from a simple landscape to the rustic
architecture of Provence. Passionate, fun-loving and
considerate, Selwa truly captures through her camera the
feelings and emotions of the moment.
