Artist's Statement
I like to capture or create scenes which evoke a mood or a strong sense of place or of time. I try to include evidence of different human experiences, feelings and values. People have dealt with the same issues, one way or another, since time before time. They come to us as legends, myths, metaphors and social media. Art is a wonderful lens to view the world closely.
I have been a member and exhibitor of the following Art Groups:
- Art League Gallery - Alexandria, VA
- Artists’ Lofts Studios - Round Hill, VA
- Capitol Hill Art League - Washington DC
- Loudoun Arts Council, Loudoun County, VA
- Maryland Federation of Art - Annapolis, MD
- Washington Print Club - Washington DC
- Washington Printmakers Gallery - Georgetown, DC
Shown are the 18th century workings of the Burwill-Morgan Mill in Millwood, Virginia watermill.
