Artist's Statement
Jill Evans-Kavaldjian is an artist living in Morrisonville in western Loudoun County. Trained as a painter and printmaker, currently she creates graphic relief prints and other kinds of works on paper, as well as her mixed media “Paintings,” which are layered works involving paint, colored pencil and varnish on wood panels. She has exhibited widely in the County and beyond, and was a founding member of Gateway Gallery and the Catoctin Holiday Art Tour, among other projects.
