Artist's Statement
Carving decorative patterns on functional forms has become my signature style of ceramic art. I love to take an ordinary soup bowl and elevate it with intricate designs. Each wheel-thrown bowl, mug, or vase becomes a canvas with endless possibilities. My pieces are sturdy enough for everyday use but elegant enough for special occasions.
