Artist's Statement

Based just outside Washington D.C. in Loudoun County, Rachel is a homeschool mother and contemporary pastel artist. Her artwork is inspired by the poetry found in everyday moments in nature. Currently she enjoys interweaving her wild life and figure work with gold leaf and acrylic washes.
