Artist's Statement
I am most interested in weaving household items such as placemats, rugs, and towels and clothing accessories such as handbags, scarfs and shawls. And just for fun, I weave shoelaces and water bottle holders. I am a teacher by profession and inclination so I love sharing the process of weaving to those interested. At my studio I will have looms set up at all stages of the process including one where guests can sit down and throw the shuttle a few times.
